Manager Back End & Auxiliaries, Ardagh Metal Packaging Europe (m/f/d) in any Ardagh Metal plant in Europe.   • Leading Back End Team in the Engineering department

  • Help implement the objectives and strategy of the Manufacturing Engineering Organization
  • Head of the Back End Department
  • lead, promote and motivate subordinate employees, continuously develop their abilities, assist in HR measures
  • Identify training needs and development opportunities according to the company future needs
  • Ensure successful project management in case of Major Projects and smaller Process Improvement Projects in the field of responsibility
  • Responsible for the safety of the installed equipment, regarding legislation, norm or other regulations (e.g. CE-conformity)
  • Maintain To do list to ensure efficient information flow within group and AMP-E can plants and to support continuous improvement
  • Ensure continuous process improvement of Back End processes
  • Define, Implement and Secure AMP-E Manufacturing standards
  • Support Technical managers of AMPE plants to define and prepare CAPEX
  • Assist in efficiency studies and cost reduction programmes
  • Integrate technology and new development outflow into the manufacturing system, liaise with PotF where applicable
  • Act as main contact for the functional business units and their process owners for all relevant topics such as application support, change requests, enhancement and new process requirements
  • Work proactively on Continuous Improvement and apply Lessons learnt to subsequent projects
  • Lead and assist projects of various sizes, containing internal as well as external or internal global team members
  • Work with and guide external consultants in support cases and projects while ensuring best cost value for the Group
  • Work closely together with IT Application to integrate Business and Process functions, providing interoperability between multiple IT systems where needed
  • Monitor and control outsourced Application Support Services in co-operation with the ERP AMPS team

Requirements

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or comparable
  • Fluent English, other European Languages are advantageous
  • MS Office
  • > 10 years Manufacturing experience in the Can Business. (Plant Level and wide Leadership experience)
  • International Project Experience
  • Soft skills: resilience, stress management, communication, reflexion, teamplayer, leadership
