We are seeking a Manager, Asset Management to lead a team. You will oversee the full recovery lifecycle, including NPLs, car repossessions, redemptions, and legal actions. This role requires a 'think-out-of-the-box' leader to manage outsourced vendors, design restructuring programs, and handle car buyer appeals directly.
Job Responsibility:
Defines the department's vision to align with the organization's overarching financial goals
Develops long-term strategies to optimize cash flow and minimize bad debt while improving collection efficiency
Establishes and updates credit collection policies to ensure they comply with legal standards and balance recovery with positive client relationships
Standardizes processes for debt recovery, escalation, dispute resolution, and risk assessment
Manages a team of approximately 12 members, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
Sets KPIs (collection rates, aging analysis) and provides coaching or corrective actions to ensure targets are met
Handles the end-to-end lifecycle of distressed accounts, including car repossession, redemption, NPL management, and legal recovery actions
Acts as the primary lead for managing and coordinating with outsourced collection vendors
Designs and manages hardship programs, payment plans, and deferment solutions for car buyers
Handles complex cases where customers appeal car towing or seek redemption of their vehicles
Monitors call quality and agent behavior to maintain a 'zero complaints' standard regarding customer treatment
Communicates performance insights, risk exposure, and policy recommendations to senior management and external auditors
