Job Responsibility

Manages the activities of the Aquatic Resources Program
Advises, educates and meets with investigators planning to use zebra fish for research
Provides direct supervision, guidance and coaching to Aquatic Resources Program technical staff
Develops and maintains a high level of customer service providing timely, accurate and expert support to researchers
Develops, monitors and maintains operating and capital budgets
Implements/maintains institutional training program for all fish users
Supports all business functions of Aquatic Resources Program
Plans strategies to meet short- and long-term fish care and research needs
Informs and advises principal investigators and others of hospital policies and procedures and regulatory requirements
Oversees maintenance and operation of highly specialized equipment designed to support aquatic life
