Job Description

This role leads the annuity product specialist team and coordinates with other functional teams in an effort to provide clients with a platform of packaged product investment solutions.

Job Responsibility

  • Manage a team of product specialists to define and/or adapt financial product offers to meet the needs of a market segment or customer
  • Lead the annuity product specialist team and coordinate with other functional teams to provide clients with a platform of packaged product investment solutions
  • Acquire and maintain product & strategy knowledge to inform advisors and clients on products and services
  • Participate in various product related initiatives including marketing, product development, and service initiatives
  • Represent the Raymond James platform in meetings with advisors, clients, and product partners
  • Demonstrate a commitment to creating an environment consistent with the firm's core values
  • Lead the internal product support teams responsible for educating advisors and clients
  • Assist the Director, Internal Institutional Annuity Distribution in the management of the Internal Annuity Consultant team
  • Transfer product knowledge and expertise by communicating with and educating other teams
  • Represent Insurance Solutions in recruiting "home office visits" and client visits
  • Assist advisors in educating clients on the benefits and risks associated with complex investment products
  • Perform human resource management activities, including coaching and mentoring staff
  • Meet specific objectives related to proactively contacting financial advisors
  • Work closely with Insurance Solutions product managers and research associates on analysis and recommendations

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance or a related field
  • Minimum of six (6) years' experience in the financial services industry
  • Existing knowledge on the strategies and products offered on the insurance solutions annuity platform
  • SIE required
  • Series 7 required
  • Life & Variable Annuities License required
  • Advanced knowledge to lead associates that educate financial advisors on multiple investment products
  • Knowledge of packaged insurance, annuity and investment products and securities markets
  • Knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures of product development and management in a financial services/broker-dealer environment

  • 1 year experience (WAH) remote customer service (Call Center environment)
  • 1 year experience with call center KPI understanding
  • 1 year experience working in an office setting, multitasking online with multiple Microsoft Windows PC applications
  • Minimum High school diploma or GED
  • Must Live in Continental United States
  • Must Pass Drug screen
  • Must Pass a background check with Education check and employment verification check

  • Providing front-line phone customer care support to policyholders, beneficiaries, agents, and internal customers
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction (CSAT) and strive to meet service metrics
  • Developing and maintaining a solid working knowledge of the insurance industry and of all products, services and processes performed by the team
  • A typical day will likely involve fielding between 75 to 100 calls
  • Communicating effectively and professionally with both internal and external customers to resolve questions and issues
  • Collaborating with management or other team members as appropriate to proactively address service issues and concerns
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and accountability for your work product
  • Provide timely and accurate support to customers, agents, and financial professionals regarding Life & Annuity products and policies
  • Process transactions such as policy updates, beneficiary changes, premium adjustments, withdrawals, and other service requests
  • Review and verify incoming documents for completeness and compliance with company and regulatory requirements
