Job Description

As the Manager, Analytics Engineering you will serve as the primary architect for our data innovation bridge, transforming dimensional data models into high-performance semantic layers for AI / BI tools. This is a highly hands-on technical leadership role focused on architecting scalable data systems and ensuring high-fidelity data quality. You will own the logic, code optimization, and technical documentation required to solve key business needs.

Job Responsibility

  • Semantic Layer Architecture: Lead the design and implementation of semantic logic and AI pipelines that bridge raw data sources and customer-facing analytics
  • Code Optimization: Transition legacy logic into clean, optimized SQL structures and dbt-ready environments to ensure a unified "Source of Truth"
  • Rapid Delivery: Build rapid data prototypes and validated data models to address immediate supply chain challenges
  • Technical Excellence: Responsible for validating logic functionality and ensuring technical documentation is complete for long-term scalability
  • Resource Management: Direct the efforts of technical support staff to accelerate engineering delivery

Requirements

  • Expert SQL: Mastery of SQL with the ability to write, debug, and optimize complex queries for global data sets
  • Data Modeling: Proven experience architecting semantic layers and scalable data systems
  • dbt Knowledge: Experience with dbt or similar data transformation tools is strongly preferred
  • Modern Data Warehouses: Hands-on experience with cloud data warehouse platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Redshift, or equivalent enterprise platforms
  • Hands-on Leadership: A "player-coach" mentality with a track record of delivering technical solutions in a fast-paced environment
