The Personal Accountant will be responsible for managing the financial affairs, accounting, taxation, banking, and investment-related transactions of the Promoters and their family HUF. The role involves coordination with banks, share brokers, wealth advisors, and ensuring accurate accounting, compliance, and timely financial reporting.
Job Responsibility:
Handle all banking-related transactions and correspondence
Manage payments, receipts, and fund transfers across accounts
Maintain proper records and reconciliation of bank statements
Coordinate with banks for operational requirements
Identify and coordinate with suitable Banks / NBFCs for LAS facilities
Manage pledging and unpledging of securities
Monitor utilization to ensure drawn amounts remain within sanctioned limits
Ensure timely payment of monthly interest and compliance with lender requirements
Place buy and sell orders with share brokers as instructed
Arrange funds for purchase transactions
Ensure shares purchased are credited to Demat accounts
Ensure timely delivery of shares for sale transactions
Monitor and confirm receipt of sale proceeds
Coordinate with wealth advisors for mutual fund investments
Open and monitor liquid mutual fund schemes for different purposes
Execute purchase and redemption transactions in mutual funds
Handle documentation and reporting related to Portfolio Management Services (PMS)
Maintain complete books of accounts in Tally
Record all financial transactions accurately
Perform bank and ledger reconciliations
Finalize accounts and prepare financial statements
Prepare computation of income
File Income Tax Returns (ITR) for individuals and HUFs
Maintain documentation for tax compliance
Coordinate with tax consultants when required
Prepare monthly Income & Expense statements
Prepare monthly fund flow statements
Monitor and ensure timely payment of credit card dues
Process reimbursement claims for official expenses paid through credit cards
Ensure timely payment of insurance premiums, including Mediclaim policies, Term insurance policies, Personal vehicle insurance
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in commerce / accounting / finance or Inter Chartered Accountant
Knowledge of Tally Accounting Software
Understanding of Income Tax compliance
Basic understanding of capital markets, mutual funds, and banking operations
8-15 years' experience in accounting / personal finance / family office accounting
Experience in handling investment transactions and banking coordination
Familiarity with Demat, mutual funds, and LAS facilities
