Job Responsibility:

Prepare and review journal entries in conjunction with the monthly closing
Responsible for various Sarbanes-Oxley controls and ensuring that those controls are operating effectively and taking place at the appropriate time intervals, consistent with internal documentation
Review and/or prepare monthly reconciliations
Preparing reports for management
Support the budget and forecasting process
Updating and maintaining Accounting schedules/records
Supervise and review staff accountant duties
Mentor and aid staff accountants in their career development
Drive process improvement and innovation
Assist Accounting Director with special projects

Requirements:

5+ years of experience in Public/Corporate Accounting
2+ years of management/supervisory experience
Good communication and analytical skills
Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
Bachelor’s degree OR equivalent experience

Nice to have:

CPA and or MBA a plus
SAP experience
