As a high-impact Accountin Manager reporting to the VP, Controllership, you will manage the G/L team and oversee end-to-end close processes to produce comprehensive monthly and quarterly financial statements. You will serve as a strategic partner to Finance, Treasury, and Operations, implementing the structure and internal controls necessary to support the company’s rapid expansion. This role owns the G/L and reconciliation functions while driving technical projects—such as new GAAP pronouncement adoption and growth initiatives—to ensure rigorous compliance in an evolving environment.
Job Responsibility:
Month-End Close: Develop, maintain, and enforce a detailed Month-End Close Schedule, assigning specific tasks and deadlines to team members (AP, AR, Payroll, and Tax), while leading the close meetings
General Ledger & Reconciliation: Prepare monthly close journal entries, GL account reconciliations as assigned, and foreign currency revaluations
Financial Analysis & Reporting: Prepare monthly consolidated and regional flux analyses, investigating drivers behind significant fluctuations to produce detailed reporting packages for leadership
Process Optimization: Partner across departments to develop and refine accounting systems and workflows, focusing on simplifying existing processes and establishing clear accountability across all teams
Audit Support: Assist with the fulfillment of annual audit requests by preparing supporting schedules, providing necessary documentation, and ensuring timely responses to auditor inquiries
Payroll Accounting: Record monthly payroll journal entries and partner with the payroll team to analyze and document period-over-period variances in employee compensation and benefits
Technical Accounting: Assist in drafting technical memos and formalizing standard operating procedures for key cycles, including revenue recognition and inventory management, to ensure US GAAP compliance and operational consistency.
Requirements:
University degree or College diploma in Finance or a related discipline
6+ years of experience in accounting or finance profession(s)
1+ years of people-managing experience
CPA license
Thorough understanding of US GAAP
Ability to remain flexible in a constantly changing environment, while demonstrating strong management, team-building, business-partnering, and prioritization skills
Experience managing the complexities of multi-entity and multi-national organizations, including intercompany eliminations and foreign currency translations.

Experience with NetSuite (or equivalent) and FloQast (or equivalent)
Working knowledge of IFRS
