Overall responsibility for development and management of financial institutions, Fintech and merchants in Belgium and Luxembourg
Based on a profound knowledge of your customers business you will identify the relevant Mastercard services that meet your customer’s needs with as an end goal the achievement of your sales target
You will evaluate business opportunities in terms of impact and financial return
You will develop our business within existing and/or not existing customers and drive business development opportunities and innovative commercial responses in the markets delivering increased revenue and/or market share
You will supervise project execution, collaborating across all business functions, to assure a delivery that will exceed your customers’ expectations
You will be able to analyse data to identify new opportunities and/or to pursue your customers and their business rigorously
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree required
Successful experiences in challenging environments (start-up, tech, retail, consulting) and in conducting business development activities working with cross functional partners
Strong commercial skillset with marketing acumen and entrepreneurship mindset with strong ability to think out of the box, take initiatives and a taste for challenge - an outside-in thinker
Analytical skills to understand customer needs, identify market perspectives, understand technological and data-based services, use sophisticated business cases and provides insight and analysis of market and customer business through profitability modeling, financial forecasting and competitive analysis
Ability to understand the new evolutions in technology and how to apply them to business
Self-starter/self-motivated with a natural ability to learn independently relying on the sources at hand and by seeking advice from the team
Excellent verbal and written communicator and influencer with strong negotiation skills
Team player with an ability to collaborate with all the internal and external stakeholders (technical teams, products teams, sales experts, legal teams etc…) with a strong problem-solving orientation
