Partner with People & Capability, HR Operations, Leave, Benefits, and Payroll leadership to support global absence management and time tracking process design and optimization initiatives
Enable and support the development, alignment, and use of absence, leave, and time tracking process flows and documentation to ensure clarity, usability, and consistency across regions while accommodating statutory, policy-driven, and labor law variation
Support leadership by defining structured global versus localized approaches, clearly articulating global standards, required controls, and allowable statutory or regulatory deviation
Function as a process design lead and trusted advisor for absence management- and time tracking-related policy updates, system enhancements, vendor changes, country implementations, and operating model changes
Partner with Product & Engineering to simplify, automate, and optimize absence management and time tracking processes, ensuring alignment with Workday Absence, Workday Time Tracking, and downstream payroll and benefits integrations
Support enhancement and implementation testing by developing use cases and executing user testing to validate that optimized process designs are viable and system-enabled
Leverage absence, leave, and time tracking performance metrics to identify trends, error drivers, compliance risks, and continuous improvement opportunities
Support cross-functional process alignment with Leave Administration providers, HR Operations, Payroll, Benefits, Labor Relations, Technology, and Risk & Compliance partners
Assess process impacts related to regulatory changes, workforce updates, acquisitions, and policy changes
support impact analysis, documentation updates, and stakeholder communications
Embed enterprise-first thinking with accountability for process integrity, compliance, and continuous optimization, while execution accountability remains with regional and in-country teams
Requirements
7+ years of experience in absence management, leave administration, time and attendance operations, workforce management, or HR process design within global or shared services environments
Demonstrated experience designing and standardizing compliance-driven, global HR processes in matrixed organizations
Strong working knowledge of Workday Absence and Workday Time Tracking, or comparable absence and time/attendance platforms and vendor ecosystems
Solid understanding of statutory leave frameworks, labor regulations, audit requirements, and operational risk considerations
Strong analytical, stakeholder engagement, and influencing skills with the ability to translate strategy into scalable process solutions
Enterprise-first mindset with accountability for process quality, consistency, and continuous optimization
