Job Description:

Works with stakeholders to address all aspects of procurement management for assigned commodity, including pricing, procurement support, supplier management, supply-base strategy, market trends assessment, etc.

Job Responsibility:

  • Works with stakeholders to address all aspects of procurement management for assigned commodity, including pricing, procurement support, supplier management, supply-base strategy, market trends assessment, etc
  • Strategic Planning and Project: Develop and implement strategies to achieve organizational objectives, managing strategic projects and timelines efficiently
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with other departments, stakeholders, and external partners to facilitate projects, drive initiatives, and resolve issues
  • Creates, leads and implements global commodity strategies: Work with business stakeholders (engineering, quality, finance, planning, materials and operations), facilitate commodity communications, including commodity councils, strategies, market and landscape updates, creates and implements global commodity strategies
  • Negotiations: Lead on contract & price negotiations, competitive analysis & should cost to reduce total cost of ownership and increase supplier value
  • Problem-Solving: Identify, analyze, and address challenges and obstacles, often involving complex or highly technical issues
  • Set up “should cost” study and lead negotiation with suppliers to achieve yearly cost reduction
  • Establish, implement, and administer system and process to evaluate, monitor, report and manage supplier performance and improvement (incl. QBR’s)
  • Monitor commodity market trends, effectively reflect market dynamic in terms of supply, cost, etc
  • Identify potential sources or suppliers in business manner
  • Identify, develop and manage relationships with existing and potential suppliers to meet the established cost, quality and delivery targets
  • Collaborate with NPI, Engineering, Quality and Operations to effectively manage NPI procurement related activities

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree or above with any relevant field
  • At least 8 years+ procurement related experience
  • In-depth knowledge on Semiconductor or Mechanical Supply Chain
  • Proven ability to achieve results in a fast moving, dynamic environment
  • Self-motivated and self-directed, but demonstrated ability to work well with people
  • Proven desire to work as a team member, both on the same team and outside of the team
  • Ability to troubleshoot and analyze complex problems
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
  • Influential and persuasive relationships with senior / executive management internally and with suppliers
  • Good computer skill on Office software (PPT, Excel, Word)
