Job Description:

We are seeking Program Manager who has passion on our Consumer Products (e.g. portable SSD, USB, SD/uSD cards) and will lead cross functional cost reduction initiatives in order to improve the overall gross margin.

Job Responsibility:

  • Cost Optimization Program Leadership: Lead cost optimization programs focused on BOMs, Hardware design and manufacturing process
  • Drive design-to-cost initiatives including component rationalization, value engineering and alternative sourcing
  • Cross Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with Engineering, Procurement and Operation to identify & execute cost-optimization opportunities
  • Facilitate alignment across teams and ensure all stakeholders are working together towards the same goal
  • Risk & Schedule Management: Identify and manage risks, oversee project status/progress and ensure meet the expected timeline
  • Create and manage project schedules, identify actions and drives for closures
  • Performance & Reporting: Regular track and report program status, risk and cost-saving metrics
  • Develop detailed plan outlining product optimization initiatives and the corresponding savings opportunities

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of Mfg Operation or Product Design experience with technical product engineering background
  • Able to lead & work cross-functionally with Engineering, Procurement and Operations to drive alignment
  • Strong stakeholder management and experience working in global organization
  • Understanding manufacturing process of consumer products (i.e. USB, Memory Card, SSD) is preferrable but not a must

Nice to have:

  • Able to adapt to a dynamic situation, resolve complex issues within a program through creative solutions to ensure program goals are achieved
  • Data driven mind-set and familiar with product cost structure
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and able to convert a data into message
  • Willing to work under pressure and self-motivated and able to think out of the box for the best solutions
