We are seeking a high-performing and motivated Manager to join our Transaction Services (Financial Due Diligence) team in Hong Kong. As part of our Financial Advisory practice, you will play a key role in the execution and delivery of financial due diligence engagements for private equity funds, corporates, and strategic investors. You will lead project delivery, manage client relationships, and contribute to the growth of our transaction services practice in Hong Kong and across the region. This role offers significant exposure to cross-border transactions across Asia-Pacific and globally, working closely with our international network.
Job Responsibility
Lead and manage buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence engagements, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery
Analyse historical financial performance, assess quality of earnings, working capital dynamics, cash flows, and potential deal risks
Identify key issues impacting valuation, deal structure, and transaction pricing, and provide pragmatic, commercial insights to clients
Prepare and review high-quality, client-ready due diligence reports and presentations
Support clients throughout the transaction lifecycle, including SPA considerations, deal negotiations, and completion mechanisms
Coordinate with cross-functional teams (tax, valuation, audit, restructuring) and international colleagues on cross-border engagements
Build and maintain strong client relationships, actively contributing to business development and network expansion
Coach, mentor, and supervise junior team members to ensure technical excellence and professional development
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
Professional qualification (CPA or equivalent) strongly preferred
5 to 7 years of relevant experience in Transaction Services / Financial Due Diligence, within a Big 4 or professional services environment
Strong understanding of financial analysis, accounting principles (HKFRS / IFRS), and transaction dynamics
Proven experience in managing engagements and dealing directly with clients
Familiarity with data and research tools (e.g. S&P Capital IQ, Mergermarket, Bloomberg)
Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modelling
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify key issues and articulate clear, commercial recommendations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, deal-driven environment
Self-starter with strong project management skills and ability to handle multiple engagements simultaneously
