Job Description:

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Manager - Talent Acquisition. The role involves managing the whole resourcing process, engaging with senior stakeholders, and ensuring strategic recruitment practices. You will also oversee onboarding processes, drive recruitment policy compliance, identify top talent to support business needs, and optimize system processes for efficiency.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage the whole resourcing process including delivery and governance, interviews and shortlisting, Oversight of Onboarding process and management of escalation
  • Act as the HSBC accountable person for recruitment within a defined portfolio
  • Ensuring optimum business experience and satisfaction
  • Liaising with the Senior Recruitment Managers for support for activity outside of the outsource remit and strategic objectives
  • Manage business stakeholder relationships and related communication
  • Develop HR Resourcing professionalism (expertise and knowledge) and commercial focus in the delivery of recruitment policy and practice as well as to manage the delivery of process and operational efficiencies, which are compliant with bank and legislative requirements, thereby enabling business areas to meet their resourcing strategy and external hiring plans
  • Delivery of a proactive recruitment service, becoming an integral part of the Business Line success
  • Ensuring work is undertaken to identify and pipeline strong calibre applicants to support future business needs
  • Supports workforce planning to enable proactive recruitment
  • Ensures the impact of policy decisions on recruitment are understood and mitigated
  • Sharing recruitment plans and recruitment related business information to support hiring manager and candidate experience
  • Ensure a compliant and efficient resourcing service in line with KPI timescales
  • Optimise working practice through the constant analysis and improvement to existing systems and process
  • Accountable for sourcing processes to ensure compliance with current legislation, brand values and ethical search practices
  • Accountable for the delivery of an effective and compliant on boarding experience, including contract production and pre-employment vetting

Requirements:

  • Experience working in relevant environment/s, i.e. significant recruitment experience with 6 years+ and track record of working in partnership with senior management and other HR colleagues in a large matrix environment
  • Experience working in relevant market/context, i.e. excellent knowledge of the recruitment market and well networked across the sector
  • Experience of using relevant software packages, i.e. Experience of using Taleo (or other ATS) and knowledge of broader recruitment technology
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English
  • an ability to communicate with impact, ensuring complex information is articulated in a meaningful way to wide and varied audiences
  • Contributed productively to team objectives, sometimes supporting and sometimes leading activities to achieve shared goals
  • A comprehensive understanding of the regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements associated with financial services and experience of working within these
  • Experience of building and managing complex relationships with significant customers
