  • Traceability, observability, and auditability across the platform
  • Define and enforce API modelling standards for customer‑facing and partner‑facing APIs
  • Guide architecture for integration workflows
  • Oversee design of policy management, orchestration, and workflow systems
  • Lead execution of medium‑to‑large initiatives spanning multiple services and teams
  • Ensure systems are designed for: Reliability and fault isolation
  • Backward‑compatible API evolution
  • Predictable runtime behavior under load
  • Secure data and state management
  • Drive best practices across technical domain
  • Oversee deployment and operations in cloud‑native, containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Participate in design and code reviews with a focus on correctness, security, and long‑term maintainability
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of engineers
  • Conduct architecture and design reviews within the team
  • Partner closely with: Product management
  • Security and identity teams
  • Platform, data, and infrastructure teams
  • Represent the team in cross‑functional and cross‑org integrations
  • Translate complex technical considerations into clear guidance for non‑technical stakeholders when needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
  • 8–12+ years of professional software engineering experience, including architectural ownership of distributed systems
  • 4+ years in a technical lead or engineering management role
  • Strong hands‑on experience with: Authentication, authorization, and identity flows
  • Multi‑tenant system design
  • Management/control‑plane architectures
  • Expert proficiency with .NET / .NET Core, including internals and service‑oriented architecture patterns
  • Proven experience designing and implementing API‑first platforms (REST, GraphQL, gRPC)
  • Experience leading integration‑heavy platforms that expose customer‑ and partner‑consumed APIs
  • Experience leading a mission-critical team responsible for critical online services with 99.9% uptime
  • Experience with event streaming and messaging systems (Kafka, Kinesis, Pub/Sub, etc.)
  • Strong architectural thinking, operational mindset, and problem‑solving skills

Nice to have

  • Background in security products, especially ZTNA, SSE, IAM, or network security platforms
  • Experience building customer‑facing management applications for cloud services
  • Familiarity with compliance, audit, or regulated environments
  • Experience driving platform maturity around observability, reliability, and operational excellence
  • Exposure to UI/backend integration patterns
