Job Description:

CVS Health is searching for a Manager - Software Development Engineering who will be responsible for leading and driving critical initiatives in our Retail Front Store portfolio. This hands-on technology leader will be an Agile evangelist with a proven track record in delivering on technology initiatives in a fast-paced organization and building trusted relationships with peer groups and business partners.

Job Responsibility:

Leading and driving critical initiatives in Retail Front Store portfolio
Delivering high quality software to enhance customer experiences
Driving vision, innovation and strategic plans that advance CVS Health's enterprise solutions across Retail Front Store portfolios
Being part of a dynamic team of architects and developers working in an Agile, accelerated development environment

Requirements:

5+ years of functional leadership experience in an information systems environment
3+ years in direct management and supervision of IT/Technical work groups including budgeting, strategic planning, technical direction, and staff coaching/mentoring
5+ years of relevant and current experience including APIs, Micro services, customization, integration, UI development and analytics
3+ years of experience with agile development
3+ years of experience managing large or multiple teams comprising of FTEs and contractors
1+ years managing teams responsible for deploying cloud applications (GCP Preferred)
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (HS diploma + 4 years relevant experience)

Nice to have:

Experience with optimization skills to improve performance, scalability, and usability of applications
Strong application development background as developer, architect, or manager
Experience and success in leading agile teams effectively, consistently delivering highest quality software
Working experience of CI/CD pipeline
Working understanding of enterprise security
Experience in a large online retailer application development organization
Retail Front Store experience
