Job Responsibility
Oversee quantity surveying activities and provide direction to QS personnel
Maintain and control quantity tracking systems across project phases
Review, validate, and consolidate cost and quantity data from site and subcontractors
Support preparation of financial forecasts, cost reports, and variance analysis
Coordinate with subcontractors to verify progress quantities and commercial submissions
Ensure consistency and integrity of management system documentation and reporting tools
Analyze project data to identify cost trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
Assist in contract administration and support commercial negotiations when required
Reconcile quantities with accounting and project cost records
Provide structured reporting to management on project performance indicators
Work closely with engineering and project controls teams to align scope and execution data
Requirements
Strong background in Quantity Surveying with experience overseeing or leading QS teams
Proven ability to manage cost control, quantity tracking, and commercial reporting activities
Familiarity with accounting principles and cost reconciliation processes
Experience working with subcontractors, preferably within the oil & gas or heavy industrial sector
Analytical mindset with capability in data handling, reporting, and performance evaluation
Competence in managing structured management systems, procedures, and documentation workflows
Ability to interpret technical, commercial, and contractual information simultaneously
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy in financial/quantity data
Confident communicator able to coordinate between engineering, procurement, and commercial teams
Experience in onshore project environments is preferred
