Job Description

At Proudfoot, with 80 years of history to rely on, we help industrial organizations achieve measurable, lasting performance improvement—not slide decks. As a Management Consultant, you will work on the front line of transformation, partnering with leaders from the shop floor to the C‑suite to deliver results that matter. This is a hands‑on, high‑impact role for professionals who thrive in complex environments, enjoy accountability, and want to see the direct outcome of their work.

Job Responsibility

  • Own delivery of one or more workstreams on large‑scale operational transformation programs
  • Diagnose performance gaps across operations, maintenance, supply chain, and cost structures
  • Lead implementation, not just design—tracking benefits, auditing results, and course‑correcting in real time
  • Work shoulder‑to‑shoulder with clients, embedding behavioral and operational change
  • Facilitate workshops and training, building client capability for sustained improvement
  • Build trusted relationships with senior client leaders and identify follow‑on opportunities

Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering, Science, Finance or a related technical field (advanced business degree a plus)
  • Experience with operational excellence methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, re‑engineering, performance improvement)
  • Solid financial acumen (P&L, cost management, productivity metrics)
  • Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Advanced proficiency in the latest AI Tools (Claude, Gemini, Co-Pilot), Excel, PowerPoint, and data‑driven problem solving
  • English fluency required
  • Hands‑on experience in industrial operations (manufacturing, mining, energy, heavy industry)
  • Worked in roles such as operations, maintenance, supply chain, OPEX, transformation, or performance improvement
  • Enjoy leading change, influencing people, and taking accountability for results
  • Energized by travel, variety, and challenge, rather than routine

Nice to have

Spanish or French an advantage

What we offer
