Job Description:

Management of equipment and vehicles, establishing the needs for their acquisition, maintenance and scrapping, managing the drivers and operators and their respective selection and training. Overseeing Equipment Maintenance activities, identifying needs, allocating resources and managing maintenance operations and ensuring management control and reporting of the area in line with superior guidelines and established procedures, in order to guarantee a response to the maintenance needs of the different areas within the desired deadlines and to ensure the efficiency of operations.

Requirements:

  • Higher Education in Mechanical Engineering or similar
  • Minimum 5 years professional experience in management and maintenance of public works equipment, quarries or mines
  • Experience in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems
  • Strong understanding of preventive and corrective maintenance practices
  • Solid knowledge in MS Office and SAP (preferred)
  • Fluency in French (mandatory) and Portuguese language
