Job Description:

You’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality financial insight and supporting operational teams across the organisation. Acting as a trusted partner to budget holders and senior stakeholders, you will ensure financial performance is well understood and effectively managed.

Job Responsibility:

  • Producing monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary
  • Leading on budgeting and forecasting processes, working closely with operational teams
  • Supporting month-end close and ensuring accurate, timely reporting
  • Partnering with departments (including repairs/maintenance teams) to drive financial understanding and performance
  • Delivering insightful analysis to support decision-making and value for money
  • Continuously improving financial processes, reporting, and systems
  • Supporting year-end processes and statutory reporting

Requirements:

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
  • Strong experience in management accounting, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Confident working with both finance and non-finance stakeholders
  • Advanced Excel and strong analytical skills
  • Able to interpret complex data and present clear, actionable insights
  • Experience within social housing is highly desirable
  • Exposure to maintenance / repairs accounting is a strong advantage
