Job Description

Norfolk and Waveney Mind are recruiting a Management Accountant to join the Finance Team.

Job Responsibility

  • Production of timely and accurate monthly management accounts
  • Provide commentary on variances to budgets/forecasts
  • Work closely with operational and non-financial teams
  • Travel across the county
  • Assist in ensuring robust financial processes and controls
  • Lead a team of 3 staff
  • Help improve month-end close by enhancement, process improvement and standardized SOPs
  • Work closely with the Head of Finance on cashflow, annual budgets, financial reporting and statutory audits
  • Deputise for the Head of Finance during periods of annual leave

Requirements

  • Fully qualified ACCA/CIMA accounting professional
  • Experience of producing accurate management accounts
  • Strong business partnering and interpersonal skills
  • Up to date knowledge of the charity sector
  • Understanding of the Charity SORP
  • Driver’s license and access to own vehicle with business insurance

What we offer

Mileage is paid at 45p per mile for cars after your home to work base mileage is deducted
