Management Accountant

The NZ healthcare business, Pharmacy Retailing NZ Ltd (PRNZ), supports healthcare wholesale and contract logistics operations, with finance playing a direct role in driving commercial performance across those segments. The Role Reporting to the Finance Manager, and working closely with the Commercial Managers, you will take ownership of core management accounting responsibilities across multiple business units, with a primary focus on the Contract Logistics segment. This is a hands-on role suited to a commercially minded accountant who can move confidently between detailed analysis and practical business partnering. Key Responsibilities Prepare monthly management reporting packs, commentary and variance analysis across allocated business units Prepare and post journals and month-end adjustments Partner with the Finance Manager and Commercial Managers on budgets, forecasts and reforecasts Maintain balance sheet control including reconciliations Prepare and review intercompany reconciliations Support CAPEX projects and working capital reporting Support audit processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives About You Fully qualified accountant (CA, CPA or equivalent) Currently in a Big 4 or mid-tier professional services firm, looking to move into industry Multiple years relevant accounting experience in a similar role – desirable Experience in logistics, distribution or a high-volume operational environment advantageous Proven month-end close experience including journals, reporting packs and group submissions Strong communicator, comfortable engaging across finance and non-finance stakeholders High attention to detail with the ability to juggle competing deadlines What’s in it for you EBOS Group is a genuine market leader with the scale and complexity to keep a technically strong accountant engaged for the long term.
