Management Accountant

• Production of monthly management accounts, including analysis and reconciliations
• preparation of forecasts and estimates
• month-end balance sheet reconciliations, including accruals and prepayments
• preparation and presentation of financial budgets
• cash flow monitoring and bank account management
• expense analysis, identifying trends and variances
• review and management of the purchase ledger function
• approval of intercompany recharges and intercompany payments, ensuring compliance with group policies
• supporting and developing members of the finance team

• Experience as a Management Accountant or Assistant Accountant
• experience in a central or head office finance environment or with motor retail experience
• working knowledge of Kerridge or similar accounting systems (desirable but not essential)
• ability to communicate effectively
• excellent numerical, organisational, and communication skills
• high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
• ability to work quickly and efficiently
• good organisational skills with ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines

Working knowledge of Kerridge or similar accounting systems
