This pivotal role is essential to the financial health and effectiveness of Christian Action Housing. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will provide accurate and timely financial management information that supports decision-making across the organisation. Your expertise will help ensure compliance with accounting standards and charity regulations while driving continuous improvement in financial processes.
Job Responsibility:
Prepare monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary, to inform senior management and board members
Support budgeting and forecasting activities, liaising with various departments to gather and consolidate financial information
Oversee Value for Money (VFM) Strategy
Assist with Financial strategy development
Prepare Statutory Financial Accounts for Trading Subsidiary
Support Operational Finance Projects
Requirements:
Part-qualified or finalist with a recognised CCAB body (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, CIPFA or equivalent)
Experience of working with complex financial systems and sub-ledger level feeder systems, and implementing information systems and strategies
Experience and understanding of budget setting, management accounts, variance analysis, investment appraisals, financial performance management reporting
Intermediate MS Excel and Word skills
Excellent oral and communication skills
