Management Accountant

• Prepare monthly management accounts to include profit and loss, balance sheet and variance analysis
• Aid in month end close and group reporting process
• Balance sheet review and reconciliation, ensuring compliance with regulatory and company policies
• Support the forecasting and budget process
• Monitoring of Intercompany and fixed asset reporting
• Support compliance activities and reporting including MSS/SAO/STBV/PSA
• Complete expenses review and posting
• Support cash management and reporting
• Support VAT and tax reporting
• General ledger activities and journal postings
• AP transactional posting analysis and reporting
• AR set-ups, transactional posting of sales invoices, analysis and reporting
• Assist with internal and external audits
• Help to identify improvements in working capital
• Create or improve operational efficiencies by process improvement and automation
• Provide timely and accurate financial information to the organisation including ad-hoc financial analysis as required

• AAT Qualified and or studying towards CIMA, ACCA or QBE accountancy qualification
• Have excellent attention to detail
• Experience of management accounts preparation
• Experience in financial forecasting
• Experience providing sound financial guidance to aid decision making
• Knowledge and experience of continuous improvement tools and techniques
• Have an innovative and proactive approach to problem solving, able to generate effective and pragmatic solutions to new situations and problems as they are presented
• Strong excel skills
• Experience building strong relationships with stakeholders and third parties to ensure the most effective outcomes are delivered

Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics BC and experience working in a Group setting is desirable but not essential
