Job Description:

T2M Resourcing are recruiting a Management Accountant on behalf of a successful business services company. This role is initially offered as a 6-month FTC, this is a full-time role and will require at least 3-days a week working in the office in Gloucester.

Job Responsibility:

  • Prepare and post prepayments, accruals, depreciation and amortisation, and take full ownership of allocated entities’ monthly management accounts and reporting pack submissions
  • Review P&L activity performed by others, seeking justification for variances, and provide detailed Excel analysis as required
  • Maintain balance sheet working files throughout the month‑end cycle and deliver accurate Divisional and Group reporting and analysis
  • Complete Risks and Opportunities reporting, produce balance sheet control files with supporting documentation, and submit commentary
  • Prepare financial year‑end audit packs, liaise with auditors, support statutory reporting processes, and contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and continuous improvement of reporting quality and accuracy

Requirements:

  • Ideally a qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA)
  • QBE and part qualified will also be considered
  • Previous involvement in management accounts preparation
  • Demonstrable experience of transforming large‑volume data sets into meaningful, workable information
  • Ability to thrive within a matrix organisation and finance structure
  • Ability to work to tight reporting deadlines
  • Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK
