Do you want to become part of one of the UK's largest motor retailers? We are currently recruiting for a Management Accountant to join us at Vertu Renault Gloucester. We are offering a fantastic salary of £35,000 plus company benefits. We are committed to coaching and developing our colleagues, as such, a crucial element of the role will entail coaching and developing our existing team.

Job Responsibility:

  • Work alongside the accountant in producing spreadsheets and statistical data to support the management team and aid business decisions
  • Coaching and developing our existing team
  • Complete the following tasks: Forecasts
  • Estimates
  • Production of Management Accounts
  • Payroll
  • Reconciliation of balance sheets
  • Accruals and prepayments
  • Cash flow
  • Reconciling manufacturer bonuses

Requirements:

  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft packages
  • Good organisational skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent numerical, organisational, and communication skills
  • Able to communicate effectively with all financial and non-financial colleagues, clients, and customers
  • Experienced Management Accountant or Assistant Accountant looking to take the next step up

Nice to have:

  • A working knowledge of Kerridge or similar accounting systems
