As an integral part of our sales team, you will support multiple branches in the region, playing a crucial role in the growth of the UK's largest builders' merchants. The role involves reactivating dormant accounts, finding new business, and building long-lasting relationships.
Job Responsibility:
Reactivate dormant and low spending accounts
find new business in an allocated area
coordinate all aspects of pricing and account development
build long lasting relationships with customers face to face
develop new sales opportunities
drive to achieve sales and profit targets from existing and new customers
support branches in winning in their local area
identify development needs with line manager
Requirements:
Passion for sales
customer service
initiative
energy
enthusiasm
previous experience within merchanting is advantageous
ideally used to building strong relationships with multiple customers and internal stakeholders in a previous field-based role
full UK driving licence with over a year's driving experience
Nice to have:
Previous experience within merchanting
background in merchants or suppliers
strong external sales experience
