Reactivating dormant and low spending accounts, and finding new business in an allocated area and for coordinating all aspects of pricing and account development
Regularly be out on the road meeting customers face to face building long lasting relationships and developing new sales opportunities
Be self-driven to maximise and achieve sales and profit targets from your allocated existing customers that are currently dormant and for new business that you seek out
Be a key part of a wider network team, growing the sales success of the branches on your patch using your expertise to support them in winning in their local area
Working with your line manager, identify your development needs and build a plan
Requirements:
Preferably with a background in merchants or suppliers and strong external sales experience (although this is not essential)
Previous experience within merchanting would be advantageous
Used to building strong relationships with multiple customers and internal stakeholders, perhaps in a previous field-based role
A full UK driving licence with over a year’s driving experience
