Job Description:

Designs, develops, troubleshoots and debugs software programs for software enhancements and new products. Develops software including operating systems, compilers, routers, networks, utilities, databases and Internet-related tools. Determines hardware compatibility and/or influences hardware design. This role focuses on delivering innovative solutions that accelerate customers' digital transformation, enabling them to tackle complex, data-intensive workloads in high-performance computing and AI environments.

Job Responsibility:

  • Design enhancements, updates, and programming changes for hardware manageability software
  • Architect modular and extensible components for system configuration, hardware diagnostics, and remote management
  • Integrate software with platform firmware, OS-level services, and possibly cloud-based management consoles
  • Ensure high performance, reliability, and security of manageability interfaces
  • Collaborate and communicate with management, internal, and partners regarding software systems design status, project progress, and issue resolution
  • Represents the software systems engineering team for all phases of larger and more-complex development projects
  • Provides guidance and mentoring to less- experienced staff members

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent
  • Typically 4+ years' experience
  • Expertise in multiple software systems design tools and languages
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Extensive working knowledge and experience in developing Enterprise level systems software products
  • Expertise in developing software using C++ / Java
  • Experience with CIM (Common Information Model) and WBEM (Web Based Enterprise Management) based Manageability and Monitoring tools like HPE SIM, Nagios etc
  • Experience working on WBEM providers and XML
  • Working knowledge of SNMP
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
