  • Perform a variety of imaging examinations, including X-rays, ultrasound, diagnostic fluoroscopy, CT/CAT scans, and MRIs, while actively contributing to a positive patient experience through direct interaction
  • Ensure a professional and responsive atmosphere by greeting patients, visitors, staff, and physicians promptly and courteously
  • Consistently produce quality images within hospital guidelines, protocols, and department standards
  • Accurately complete documentation according to hospital and department guidelines, including exam performed, billing, exam labeling, computer entry, contrast orders, etc.
  • Maintain clinical competency assuming responsibility for upgrading skills through participation in inservice education and other continuing education activities
  • Assist MD and other staff in preparing for and performing procedures consistently following sterile technique, infection control guidelines and department standards
  • Evaluate personal and departmental work volume and flow to ensure efficient departmental patient care
  • Prioritize work according to urgency and resources
  • Respond effectively in emergency situations
  • May act as supervisor in absence of department supervisor
