Job Description:

Vital in early breast cancer detection, performing high-quality mammographic imaging with precision and compassion. The technologist is primarily responsible for performing mammography studies. The technologist maintains a high standard of medical ethics at all times and is self-motivated to increase level of understanding and knowledge of the field, disease, and new procedures as they evolve.

Job Responsibility:

  • Perform high-quality mammographic imaging

  • Meticulously position patients
  • Ensure patient comfort

  • Maintain accurate records
  • Collaborate with radiologists
  • Adhere to safety and regulatory standards
  • Assist physicians with interventional imaging procedures, starting IV's, and injecting contrast, if applicable
  • Rotate between different campuses within Brazos Valley

Requirements:

  • AAS - Completion of an accredited Radiology Program
  • Two (2) years of imaging experience
  • ARRT (R)
  • ARRT (M)
  • BLS - Within 14 days of hire
  • MRT:TX
