Job Description:

The Four Seasons Explorer Palau is currently looking for Male Therapist who shares our passion for excellence and is enthusiastic about creating memorable guest experiences. The Male Therapist is part of a diverse and dynamic team that provides award-winning service to our valued guests. This position is for an on-board (offshore) facility.

Job Responsibility:

  • Is directly responsible for the day to day key processes in his/her area of work
  • Assists his/her supervisor in executing the day to day operational requirements
  • Assumes training responsibilities when required
  • Attends all scheduled training sessions
  • Actively offers operational, employee and customer related feedback to management
  • Displays warmth, care and genuine enthusiasm when dealing with guests and internal customers
  • Provides professional treatments including massage and body treatments in a sensitive and personalized manner
  • Determines guest needs and preferences by asking pertinent questions
  • Possesses a high degree of product knowledge and relevant technical skills
  • Handles guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism
  • Has a thorough understanding of all services including benefits, indications & contraindications for each of the treatments
  • Sets-up and maintains spa treatment areas in an immaculate manner
  • Maintains stocks of operating and guest supplies in the work areas
  • Adheres to the hotel's code of conduct and grooming & hygiene standards
  • Assists colleagues in crunch times
  • Actively participates in briefings and meetings
  • Maintains a clean and orderly work area and promotes a safe working environment
  • Performs any additional duties as assigned
  • Is proficient in the use of the reservations software
  • Reads and update the daily log
  • Identifies and reports area maintenance issues and equipment related problems immediately to manager
  • Prepare & serve spa drinks & maintain highest level of hygiene

Requirements:

  • Qualified therapist with knowledge and experience in international spa therapies - Thai massage, Balinese massage, Aroma therapy, Indian head massage, Reflexology, facials, body scrubs, and wraps
  • Completed Yoga instructors course or Teachers training program with previous experience in conducting group Yoga classes as well as private Yoga Session
  • Ability and willingness to perform guest room attendant role – bed making and other cleaning responsibilities in guest rooms
  • Team player with the rest of the crew on the boat
