Thera East Anglia has an exciting opportunity available for a Male Support Worker to join our team in Caister on Sea. You will join us on a permanent basis, with part time and relief hours available. In return, you will receive a competitive salary of £13.00 per hour. We are looking for a friendly, reliable Support Worker to assist a young man in accessing activities he loves and enjoying his local community.
Job Responsibility:
Assist a young man in accessing activities he loves and enjoying his local community
Supporting him to enjoy activities such as swimming, rock climbing, trampolining, golf, badminton and more
Accompanying him on social outings such as visits to local pubs for karaoke and quizzes during support hours
Help create innovative ways to support individuals achieve their own personal goals, aims and ambitions
Supporting people in their daily lives which could include helping someone develop new skills, providing personal and emotional support, helping people plan and manage their own home, support with leisure, employment, individual interests and travel
Requirements:
Full UK driving licence is essential
Must be available for the following shifts: Monday: 11:00am – 4:00pm, Wednesday: 11:30am – 4:30pm, Saturday: 6:00pm – 11:00pm
