We are currently recruiting Male Support Workers to join a dedicated specialist support team in North Kesteven, Lincolnshire. We are supporting an individual with Autism, ADHD, Learning Disabilities, Cerebral Palsy (ambulant), PICA, and trauma-related emotional needs. This is a highly rewarding role supporting someone with complex needs who requires consistent, skilled, and person-centred support. Due to the nature of the behaviours presented, we are seeking male support workers who are confident, resilient, and experienced in managing complex and challenging behaviours within a Positive Behaviour Support framework.
Job Responsibility
Deliver high-quality, person-centred support
Promote independence and develop daily living skills
Support with medication, meal preparation, household tasks, and record keeping
Follow and implement PBS plans and risk management strategies
Support emotional regulation and maintain structured routines
Safely manage and respond to behaviours of concern
Support community access, appointments, and physical activities such as gym sessions
Liaise effectively with healthcare professionals, mental health teams, and emergency services when required
Maintain a safe environment and monitor risks associated with PICA
Requirements
Previous experience supporting adults with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and Learning Disabilities (LD)
Proven experience managing complex and challenging behaviours
Experience supporting individuals with PICA
A good understanding of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) and person-centred approaches
Strong de-escalation skills and a calm, non-reactive approach
Knowledge of trauma-informed care and emotional regulation strategies
Excellent communication, consistency, and organisational skills
The ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
A full UK driving licence (essential)
