Male Support Worker - Complex Needs

• Communicating in a clear and confident manner that helps maintain routine and stability
• Offering reassurance, structure, and calm interaction throughout the day
• Supporting daily living tasks (medication, cooking, cleaning, personal care)
• Providing emotional support and helping to maintain a positive, predictable routine
• Supporting community access using taxis when required
• Safely using a range of specialist equipment, including: Hoist and sling, Tilt-in-space wheelchair, Tilt-in-space shower chair/commode, Rise-and-fall bed, Crash mats, Foam mattress

• Calm, confident, and able to provide steady, supportive guidance
• Communicates clearly and is comfortable giving direction when needed
• Patient and resilient when supporting behaviours of concern
• Values structure, routine, and consistency
• Comfortable working with people from diverse backgrounds
• Works well independently and as part of a team
• Holds a full UK driving licence (desirable but not essential)

Experience in complex care, mental health, or behaviour support (desirable but not essential)
