We are currently recruiting bank Support Workers to support an individual with complex mental health needs within the BRAMLEY, LEEDS area. There will be a transitional period which will involve supporting the client moving from a hospital in Middlesbrough back to Leeds. Use of your own car and a willingness to travel are essential. Mileage to and from the hospital will be paid. Please note we are not a recruitment agency. Applicants must be available for a meet‑and‑greet and for training, which will run for one week. Job Responsibility:

Requirements:
Complex Mental Health (MUST)
Driving Licence (MUST)
Provide support during the good times and the difficult periods our individual faces in their daily life
Have a good understanding of Complex Mental Health and how this can impact daily living or have working with in a mental health setting
Be a positive advocate for them
Be consistent – do what you say you say you will if you can’t explain why
Be prepared to motivate them in a supportive manner
Be patient and understanding encourage them on the difficult days
Have a fun and kind personality who will go on adventures
Work with them to solve issues and overcome day to day tasks
Come to work to “Get to know me” as that is what is needed to support them
Work as part of the team who deliver amazing person-centred care
Think outside the box
Be able to have a laugh and joke but have set standards and boundaries
