Job Description

We are currently looking to hire a Male Massage Therapist who can performs a body treatment according to established protocols ensuring all guests experience pure peace and relaxation.

Job Responsibility

  • Perform body treatment according to established protocols ensuring all guests experience pure peace and relaxation
  • Provide a friendly and professional service that always exceeds guest's expectations
  • Read the hotel's employee handbook and adhere to the hotel's rules and regulations, particularly policies on Fire, Hygiene, Health and Safety
  • Undertake other duties within the overall scope of the position
  • Report for duty punctually wearing correct uniform/attire and name badge
  • Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene
  • Comply with local legislation as required
  • Maintain good working relationships with colleagues and all other departments
  • Respond to any changes in the department as dictated by industry, company or hotel needs
  • Be flexible and extend job duties as assigned, including redeployment to alternative departments/areas if required
  • Attend training and meetings as required
  • Utilize the logbook and schedule chart
  • Keep work area neat, clean and quiet at all times
  • Utilize each of the rooms and provide information to guests about services offered in the Spa as well as the Hotel
  • Utilize each of the retail products safely and accurately
  • Provide professional Spa treatments for any client including Massages, body wraps, Hamman and facial treatments
  • Provide amenities involved in the Spa treatment to customize and personalize the Spa journey
  • Respond properly in any hotel emergency or safety situation
  • Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by hotel management and staff

Requirements

  • Certified for massage and beauty treatments
  • At least 2 years of experience in a luxury spa environment
  • Outstanding communications skills and command of the English are essential
  • knowledge of local language is an advantage
  • Excellent communication and exceptional guest service skills
  • Attention to detail, ability to multitask and prioritize
  • Guest centricity and understanding the importance of guest's preferences
  • Flexible schedule with the ability to work all types of shifts, weekends and holidays
  • Additional Hammam skills will be considered an advantage

  • Knowledge of local language
