We are currently recruiting full time day and bank Mental Health Support Workers to support an individual with mental health needs and a mild learning disability within the KESGRAVE area. Please note we are not a recruitment agency. Role Description: We are committed to Equal Opportunities. We currently have a great opportunity for dedicated Support Workers to work with an individual who has a learning disability, and mental health needs. The individual will be supported in their own home so we are looking for experienced Support Workers who can provide 360 wrap around support that covers all aspects of their life providing 3:1 during the day.

Provide support during the good times and the difficult periods the individual faces in their daily life
Be a positive advocate and role model for the individual

Be prepared to motivate the individual in a supportive manner
Be patient and understanding
Have a fun and kind personality who will go on adventures with the individual
Be able to work with the individual to solve issues and overcome day to day tasks
Work as part of the team who deliver amazing person-centred care
Think outside the box
Be able to have a laugh and joke but understand the importance of set standards and boundaries
Requirements

Have a good understanding of Mental Health and how this can impact daily living or have worked with in a mental health, learning disability or autism setting
