Job Description

Howe Park set in lovely rural location provides a step-down service for adults with Learning Disabilities, Autism & behaviour which may be described as challenging. Each individual is provided with their own flat alongside access to the internal and external communal spaces. It balances the opportunity for independence development with social integration.

Job Responsibility

  • Supporting residents to develop independence and life skills
  • Assisting people to achieve daily goals & daily activities such as arts, crafts, hobbies
  • Assisting with the development of person centred plans for our residents
  • Maintaining records and drawing up risk assessments
  • Providing personal care where needed always working towards more independence
  • Supporting people in undertaking daily activities or development

Requirements

  • 12 months experience within a care environment supporting those with Autism and behaviours that may be described as challenging
  • must be flexible to work across all shifts
  • must undergo an enhanced DBS check
  • must supply a minimum of 2 verified references, with proof of ID and 2 proofs of address
