We are seeking an organized, proactive, and mission-driven Major Gifts and Membership Specialist to oversee daily administrative operations at a growing non-profit organization. This role is essential in supporting both the internal team and the organization’s broader mission by ensuring the office runs efficiently and effectively.
Job Responsibility:
Serve as the main point of contact for internal staff, board members, donors, and community partners
Coordinate scheduling, meetings, and event logistics for leadership, ensuring efficient use of time
Support HR functions such as onboarding, maintaining personnel files, and tracking time off
Maintain and organize digital and physical filing systems, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and accessible
Manage donor databases (e.g., Salesforce, Blackbaud, Raiser's Edge, DonorPerfect), track donations, generate reports, and assist with communication and donor outreach efforts
Requirements:
3+ years of administrative or office management experience
experience in a non-profit setting is preferred
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with donor databases/CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Blackbaud, Raiser's Edge, DonorPerfect)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
