Requirements

10+ years' experience within an adjusting company or insurer, including major losses
Proven track record in property claims
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced and changing environment
Dependability, persistence, and a flexible, adaptable approach
Minimum 2 years' experience in property claims management
Experience reviewing scopes of work, identifying errors or omissions, and adding value in claims reserving and movements
Effective communication skills and ability to deliver outcomes efficiently

Job Responsibility

Handle claims in line with company requirements and the demanding service standards of MCL clients
Ensure key performance indicator targets are achieved and maintained
Actively progress and control all cases
Understand and implement Company and client-specific procedures effectively
Ensure technical accuracy and produce high-quality reports
Build and maintain effective relationships with clients, brokers, and policyholders
Apply detailed knowledge of domestic and commercial claims, processes, and policy terms
Diagnose building defects accurately and identify appropriate remedial actions
Demonstrate knowledge of SME claims and contents claims handling
Oversee restoration procedures following fire, flood, or similar incidents

Requirements

Required to have previous experience within a similar role
To be at least progressing towards or completion of ACILA, FCILA or other professional qualifications a preference
Top quality interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast paced and changing environment
Dependability and persistence are essential
Proven track record of general property adjusting and high net worth
Experience of major losses is preferable
Completely flexible approach and adaptable to changing priorities
Accustomed to working under pressure in a fast pace, demanding environment
Full, clean driving license required

Job Responsibility

To carry out the loss adjusting of Major Loss, complex and High Net Worth claims including subsidence and escape of oil
To handle claims in line with company requirements and particularly the demanding service standards of M&CL clients
To be on call 1 week in 3 for out of hour calls
To ensure key performance indicator targets are reached and maintained
To actively progress and control all cases
Understand Individual client requirements
Handle customers effectively and fairly in line with HNW insurers requirements
Be flexible at all times and able to accommodate demanding appointment schedules
Action all work in line with company and client requirements
Build effective relationships with clients, brokers and others

Job Responsibility

Handle claims in line with company requirements, meeting the demanding service standards of Major & Complex Loss (MCL) HNW clients
Oversee all claims involving mid-high net worth customers and those requiring additional customer support, taking ownership where necessary
Mentor adjusters to ensure an 'added value' approach to Private Client claims, supporting new recruits in understanding the MCL philosophy
Build relationships with existing Private Client Insurers, acting as a point of contact for escalations
Collaborate with Business Development and Growth teams to add new mid-high net worth clients to the portfolio
