Job Description:

Work at a Marriott property supporting maintenance operations by performing repairs, preventive maintenance, and resolving guest requests while following company standards.

Job Responsibility:

Respond and attend to guest repair requests
fix minor plumbing problems such as unclogging drains and repairing leaky faucets
perform miscellaneous minor repairs such as tightening loose toilet seats, changing light bulbs, and patching holes in walls
perform preventative maintenance on tools and equipment including cleaning and lubrication
maintain daily logs of operation, maintenance, and safety activities
communicate with guests/customers to resolve maintenance issues
follow all company and safety policies and procedures
report maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries
ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
welcome and acknowledge guests
anticipate and address guests’ service needs
assist individuals with disabilities
develop and maintain positive working relationships with others
visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines
perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.

Requirements:

At least 2 years of related work experience
high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
ability to reach overhead and below the knees
ability to visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines
ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance
ability to move up and down stairs, service ramps, and/or ladders
ability to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight.
