ConnectSydney are on the hunt for a new ITS Works Scheduler to join the team! The Maintenance Works Scheduler ensures efficient and timely delivery of ITS and Civil programs by developing and maintaining optimised schedules for maintenance, and special projects. The role coordinates daily workloads, monitors progress and implements contingency plans to meet performance targets. It also fosters collaboration across delivery, environmental, asset, and stakeholder teams while driving process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
Job Responsibility:
Coordinate day-to-day scheduling and forecasting of workloads for ITS, and civil maintenance
Develop and maintain ITS and civil maintenance programs for planned maintenance, and special projects
Ensure Work Order details align with allocated resources and are achievable, optimising sequencing to minimise customer impacts
Ensure all KPI/APM-related jobs are scheduled and delivered on time, in line with contractual and performance obligations
Contribute to planning analysis in scheduling and dispatching work allocations
Develop strong relationships and liaise with Delivery teams, Environmental team, Asset Team, Customer and Stakeholder teams
To report all incidents to team lead in a timely manner
Safeguards company assets under their control
Preparation of accurate estimates to complete work assigned as requested
To regularly review existing processes and look for process improvements
Requirements:
Certificate III in Construction, or similar is favourable
2-3 years minimum experience working in a similar role
Previous industry experience is necessary
Understanding of TfNSW Road Maintenance and ITS Asset Management systems and Network works delivery is favourable
Experience using Microsoft Project (MS Project) or similar scheduling tools to develop and manage maintenance or project schedules is highly regarded
Current driver’s licence
Nice to have:
Certificate III in Construction, or similar is favourable
Understanding of TfNSW Road Maintenance and ITS Asset Management systems and Network works delivery is favourable
Experience using Microsoft Project (MS Project) or similar scheduling tools to develop and manage maintenance or project schedules is highly regarded
