An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Works Coordinator to join Service Stream undertaking the UU MECS contract. The Maintenance Works Coordinator is responsible for the safe and efficient execution of all planned maintenance activities on Urban Utilities Assets in line with Service Streams obligations under the Mechanical, Electrical and Control Systems (MECS) Agreement with Urban Utilities.
Job Responsibility:
Onsite coordination (planning, scheduling and dispatching) of planned and unplanned maintenance activities.
Working side by side the Maintenance Supervisor to ensure all maintenance activities are prioritised appropriately and resources are managed effectively.
Daily interaction with the site team to develop and nurture a collaborative relationship that maximises output without compromising quality and safety.
Attend face to face on-site maintenance and planning meetings
Be part of on-site team, actively participate in developing improvements and efficiencies.
Physical inspection of maintenance activities whilst in-progress and on completion to ensure compliance with the requirements of the work order.
Monitor, report and manage performance for subcontractors carrying out maintenance activities.
Inspection of subcontractor activities to ensure completion of the task and the required documentation has been provided.
Meet with, liaise with, the onsite operations team to confirm access requirements for assets that require maintenance activities.
Communicate with Operations to ensure response to all maintenance tasks are attended safely and promptly.
Ability to provide coverage and be available to the ECC (Emergency Control Centre) during 24/7 wet weather events when triggered by Urban Utilities.
Ability to participate in a "working hours 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM" roster for first response, ensuring timely notification and allocation of incoming work orders to the relevant personnel.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role or 5 years’ experience in relatable roles
Previous Experience with Click Job Scheduling software (or similar)
Previous Experience with Ellipse Asset Management System (or similar)
Proven skills in analysing data, identifying problems, and preparing response strategies.
Experience working to strict set of quality system
Proactive mindset committed to driving compliance, operational efficiency and relationship management in a dynamic environment.
Excellent organisational and administration skills
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to work as part of a team and in close consultation with supervisors to plan and organise daily tasks, be efficient and accurate in achieving the objectives of the position within set timelines
Ability to assist other staff when required by providing guidance, advice and training on routine procedure
