Maintenance Worker

• Ensuring Archway-owned buildings are safe and welcoming
• Providing general building maintenance, including basic electrical work, painting and minor renovations, building and moving furniture, and snow removal
• Hanging pictures, signage etc.
• Maintaining all tables, chairs and equipment
• Conducting painting and minor renovations
• Removing snow from all walks and entrance ways and implementing ice melt applications
• Running errands and picks up supplies
• Assisting in capital planning of Archway-owned buildings
• Assisting with budgeting

• At least 2 years’ experience working in a building maintenance position
• Good verbal communication and listening skills
• Strong working knowledge of standard custodial/maintenance practices, methods, materials, tools and equipment
• Strong working knowledge, skill, manual dexterity and mechanical aptitude in the use of tools (hand and power) and repair equipment
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Able to address all concerns and suggestions in a respectful manner
• Able to read, understand, and follow instructions safely
• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
