Job Description:

Maintenance Worker position at IKEA Joliet, Illinois, performing building maintenance, troubleshooting and repair on building systems while contributing to the IKEA culture and embracing diversity of coworkers and customers.

Job Responsibility:

Perform maintenance, troubleshooting and repair on building systems
Perform inspection and adjustments as prescribed by the manufacturer
Contribute to an environment where IKEA culture is a strong and living reality that embraces the diversity of coworkers and customers
Assume responsibility for other tasks and projects as assigned

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years prior Building Maintenance experience required
Must have experience with hand tools and their proper use
Proven electrical, mechanical, and/or plumbing skills
Safety minded individual
Ability to lift 50 to 75lbs
Must have a valid drivers license
Must have ability to obtain an IKEA forklift driver certification
