Job Responsibility

  • Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that building systems operate efficiently and that the physical condition of buildings does not deteriorate
  • Perform maintenance tasks such as carpentry, painting, plumbing, and electrical repairs to ensure that the building is properly maintained
  • Clean and repair building fixtures, including lights, locks, windows, doors, screens, walls, floors, gutters, and drains
  • Operate and perform routine maintenance and repairs on systems & equipment as needed
  • Perform landscaping and grounds maintenance
  • Assist with building repairs and preventative maintenance
  • Paint and maintain exterior and interior surfaces
  • Assist with snow removal and seasonal property preparation
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and safe condition
  • Respond to maintenance requests as assigned

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license preferred
  • Ability to pass background screening if required
  • Ability to safely operate maintenance equipment and tools
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in general landscaping and building maintenance
  • General knowledge of 110V electrical systems and basic troubleshooting
  • Experience working in varying weather and environmental conditions, including heat, cold, snow, rain, and uneven terrain
  • Basic building maintenance skills, including painting, minor repairs, and use of common hand and power tools
  • Ability to perform physical labor, lift materials, climb ladders, and work outdoors for extended periods
  • Strong work ethic, dependability, and attention to detail
  • Ability to follow safety procedures and work instructions

Nice to have

  • Experience with irrigation systems, exterior lighting, roofing, siding, decks, or general property maintenance
  • Familiarity with OSHA safety practices and PPE requirements
  • Ability to identify maintenance issues and report them appropriately
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
