Job Responsibility
Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that building systems operate efficiently and that the physical condition of buildings does not deteriorate
Perform maintenance tasks such as carpentry, painting, plumbing, and electrical repairs to ensure that the building is properly maintained
Clean and repair building fixtures, including lights, locks, windows, doors, screens, walls, floors, gutters, and drains
Operate and perform routine maintenance and repairs on systems & equipment as needed
Perform landscaping and grounds maintenance
Assist with building repairs and preventative maintenance
Paint and maintain exterior and interior surfaces
Assist with snow removal and seasonal property preparation
Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and safe condition
Respond to maintenance requests as assigned
Requirements
Valid driver's license preferred
Ability to pass background screening if required
Ability to safely operate maintenance equipment and tools
Minimum of 3 years of experience in general landscaping and building maintenance
General knowledge of 110V electrical systems and basic troubleshooting
Experience working in varying weather and environmental conditions, including heat, cold, snow, rain, and uneven terrain
Basic building maintenance skills, including painting, minor repairs, and use of common hand and power tools
Ability to perform physical labor, lift materials, climb ladders, and work outdoors for extended periods
Strong work ethic, dependability, and attention to detail
Ability to follow safety procedures and work instructions
Nice to have
Experience with irrigation systems, exterior lighting, roofing, siding, decks, or general property maintenance
Familiarity with OSHA safety practices and PPE requirements
Ability to identify maintenance issues and report them appropriately
Good communication and teamwork skills
