Aramark is hiring a Maintenance Worker / Maintenance Technician in Doylestown, PA to support facility operations within a secure correctional environment. In this hands-on role, you’ll perform day-to-day maintenance and basic repairs on plumbing, electrical, and general building systems using a CMMS work order system. You’ll complete preventative maintenance tasks, respond to service requests, and help keep the facility safe, operational, and well-maintained. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with a rotating on-call assignment approximately once every 9 weeks. This role is ideal for someone with trade experience who is reliable, safety-focused, and comfortable working in structured environments. Job Responsibility:
Maintains a friendly, efficient, positive customer service demeanor toward customers, clients, and co-workers
Adaptable to customer needs
Repairs various fixtures and hardware such as doors, windows, minor appliances, office equipment, etc.
Inspects assigned area on a routine basis and performs maintenance as needed to keep facility in functioning and serviceable condition
Completes daily, weekly, or monthly checklists of pre-scheduled building and equipment maintenance procedures
Reports on any major maintenance need and recommends corrective action as appropriate
Demonstrates efficient and safe use of equipment and tools
Demonstrates commitment to professional growth and competence by adherence to component and departmental training commitments
Adheres to Aramark safety policies and procedures
Requirements:
At least 2 years of experience in maintenance, facilities, construction, or a skilled trade (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.)
Ability to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks
Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
Willingness to participate in rotating on-call coverage (1 week approximately every 9 weeks)
Ability to work in a correctional facility environment and follow strict security guidelines
Physically able to lift, bend, climb, and perform hands-on maintenance tasks
