Maintenance Technician

• Provide technical assistance and support to manufacturing operations
• Assist in implementation of Equipment Preventive and Predictive Schedules
• Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements
• Diagnose problems with machinery/processes
• Maintains equipment, parts, critical spares, and supplies inventories
• Maintains electronic records for history of PM's for all manufacturing assets
• Document and communicate actions, irregularities, and continuing needs
• Fabricates repair parts as needed
• Repair, maintain/monitor all support equipment and amenities
• Change of all filters for ventilation as required
• Paint, remodel, refurbish areas as needed
• Change light bulbs, interior and exterior, as needed
• Supports Overall Equipment Effectiveness(OEE) performance
• Continuous improvement of TPM Documentation
• Follows Lean methodology for Facilities Department
• Maintains safe and clean working environment
• Member of Incident Response Team(IRT)
• Assistance with implementation of projects
• Assistance in the development of continuous improvement initiatives
• Become the primary contact for Manufacturing, regarding equipment and process issues
• Control work
• Operating Interfaces
• Electrical and mechanical systems
• Document existing management for Electrical, Mechanical and Infrastructure
• Technical Resource for equipment failure
• Determination of root cause failures and alleviation of issues on equipment
• Installation of equipment
• Design and manage new equipment process development, timing, budget, setup, debug, and training
• SOP's for NEW equipment and Systems
• Document management for Electrical, Mechanical and Infrastructure

• Must be able to sit, stand, hear, and see on a constant basis
• Must be able to walk, write, and type on a frequent basis
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to climb and descend stairs
• Must be able to bend, carry, reach, push, and pull on an occasional basis
• Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing
• May work indoors and outdoors as needed
• May work in areas where noise level is such that hearing protection is required
• May work in areas where toxic, flammable, and hazardous materials are present
• May be exposed to varying amounts of dust and dirt
• Employee must be able to tolerate non-toxic paint odors and be able to wear a respirator as required
• Employee must be able to operate a computer and communicate via telephone
